Reconstruction refers to the rebuilding of data when part or all of the accounting records of a business have been lost. There are a number of reasons this may happen - flood, fire, or computer malfunction, for example.  This can be an enormous and daunting task for any business owner but, when faced with lost accounting records, it is important not to delay reconstruction.
